Hi Steve! Charms are little shapes of every sort that you can clip to a bracelet or necklace. The article link posted above, "Charms are the perfect gift for every occasion" tells a little more about what they are and what they are used for.
I just read about your little boys. I have 3 boys myself and look forward to reading about yours. Enjoy your day!
Thanks pbredford. I love charms! I call them trinkets and I find and collect them from all over! I guess what makes it a charm is the clasp you use to clip it on your necklace. I don't where jewelery but I enjoy beading and I will look for James Avery charms next time I go bead shopping.
Thanks, Steve.
